Terms and Conditions
Conditions of Travel
- We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel insurance which includes repatriation costs in the event of an accident or medical emergency. We further advise that you see your doctor before travelling to ensure you have the appropriate vaccinations for your holiday. Malaria is prevalent in parts of the Northern Province, KwaZulu-Natal, Botswana, Namibia and the Kruger National Park and you should discuss appropriate precautions with your General Practitioner before travelling.
- Riding ability: Most of our destinations cater for all levels of rider, from novice to advanced, and offer a wide range of suitable and well-schooled horses. However, clients who wish to include a stay at Wait A Little Game Reserve or Entabeni Game Reserve, or who wish to ride in Botswana's Okavango Delta, are likely to encounter big game (including lion and elephant) on horseback. To ensure the safety of the group, it is a prerequisite in these instances that you demonstrate the basic skills of riding before embarking on a horseback safari. You will be required to demonstrate that you can ride confidently at a trot and canter. Novices will not be permitted to go out on a horseback safari and the final decision rests with the managers of these reserves.
- When your final itinerary is issued we will provide a list of recommended clothing which you should bring with you, tailored to the likely climate at the time of year you are booked to travel.
- All clients may be required to sign an indemnity form on arrival at specific destinations. If this is the case, they will not be permitted to ride or partake in game drives prior to signing.
- In the interests of safety, clients agree to obey the destination guides at all times when riding out and to attend any required safety briefings which may be held.
- Clients who book within 4 weeks of departure must pay the total price of the holiday at the time of booking. All outstanding monies must be paid in full prior to departure or clients risk having their booking cancelled.
- All bookings made through Will of Africa Adventures are subject to the cancellation terms and conditions of the client's chosen destinations. Should a client wish to cancel a booking, we will advise the terms which apply in each specific instance. When Will of Africa Adventures issues a confirmed itinerary each client will be advised of the cancellation policies of their chosen destinations. When travelling with Will of Africa Adventures the cancellation and booking conditions of Will of Africa Adventures CC will apply.
- Certain destinations charge single supplements and where a solo client is not prepared to share, this supplement (which varies from 20% to 50% of the nightly charge depending on destination) will be detailed on their invoice. Not all destinations charge single supplements however. Please ask for details.
In the interests of safety, Will of Africa is unable to accept bookings for children under the age of 12 for a horseback safari.
